Enrollment

All students may enroll in a class by contacting Badges of Honor Academy and requesting enrollment in their specified course. The student will schedule an appointment to meet with the school Director and complete the enrollment agreement, before being officially enrolled in a training class.

Completion Requirements

A student is required to be present 100% of the time during the time of instruction. Certificate of completion will not be given without student participation and full attendance. Based on course guidelines, the student may need to meet testing requirements as outlined by New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. When all criteria are satisfied, the student will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Course Pricing

Upon completion of the course, all applicable school fees will be collected, subject to full payment from the student to the schools instructor as outlined in the course section. Fees are payable in the form of cash as well as personal checks (personal checks must not be the form of a starter check, a name and address to be pre-printed on the check must be of same person taking the desired course(s). A printed and signed receipt will be issued for all fee transactions.

Refund Policy

A student will receive a 100% refund if requested prior to the start of instruction. If an 8-hour course is divided between two 4-hour days, student will be entitled to a 50% refund if the student cancels after the start of instruction, but before start of second 4-hour block.

*16 hour OJT course: Student will be entitled to a 50% refund if the student cancels after the start of instruction, but before the start of the second 8 hour block of instruction. If the instruction is divided between four 4-hour sessions, the refund schedule shall be 75%, 50%, and 25%.
